“Ghost Hits” Video Premiere on Baeble Music

Our music video for Ghost Hits title track is premiering today exclusively on Baeble Music. Watch and enjoy! Baeble writes that the song “combines a frenzied guitar jangle with the cooling, tidal flow of Andrew Oedel’s voice. The video, directed by Alex Amoling, brilliantly juxtaposes the song’s tone with a bloody barrage between the sexes. The ending is surprising and refreshing, and we’re certain that it’s totally different from any boxing flick you’ve ever seen – although it would be pretty awesome to see Rocky III end in such a manner.”

Pick up your copy of Ghost Hits on iTunes.

“Trunk” in the Desert

Last summer on tour we filmed an acoustic version of our song “Trunk” in the desert on the way back to the east coast. We were right outside some MIB space alien meteor crash site so it only seemed appropriate. Shot and edited by Ben Sweet.

Ghost Hits Video Release Show

We had a blast making a new music video for our song “Ghost Hits.” It’s got violence, romance, laughs, tears … everything you could ever want from a few rogue barons. It’s gonna hit the internet sometime real soon, but we’re going to screen the film at Glasslands in Brooklyn on Friday 5/17 as a little sneak peek. We’re also going to play a set with some new jams, our first in NYC for a while! Come hang, cast and crew of the video will be there too, along with Tinmouth and Nightbox opening.

8pm, $10 cover, 21+, get tickets here.

Matt with … Esperanza Spalding?

We know him as our endlessly talented, bedredded drummer. You may know him as the dashing lad who fictionally dates Grammy Award-winning songstress Esperanza Spalding in this music video … Unreal, we’re floored and stupidly proud of Addo.

In other news, we’re having an excellent day of jamming out here in Bushwick … new tunes baking away, we’ll get those out to you ASAP in 2013.

Crazy Align

In preparation for the Ghost Hits release on June 12th, here’s a video we did for our new song “Crazy Align” in collaboration with twisted film genius Ricky Shabazz. Big ups to the peeps at Three/21 Media and SDR who do a helluva job.
