We had a blast making a new music video for our song “Ghost Hits.” It’s got violence, romance, laughs, tears … everything you could ever want from a few rogue barons. It’s gonna hit the internet sometime real soon, but we’re going to screen the film at Glasslands in Brooklyn on Friday 5/17 as a little sneak peek. We’re also going to play a set with some new jams, our first in NYC for a while! Come hang, cast and crew of the video will be there too, along with Tinmouth and Nightbox opening.
We know him as our endlessly talented, bedredded drummer. You may know him as the dashing lad who fictionally dates Grammy Award-winning songstress Esperanza Spalding in this music video … Unreal, we’re floored and stupidly proud of Addo.
In other news, we’re having an excellent day of jamming out here in Bushwick … new tunes baking away, we’ll get those out to you ASAP in 2013.
In preparation for the Ghost Hits release on June 12th, here’s a video we did for our new song “Crazy Align” in collaboration with twisted film genius Ricky Shabazz. Big ups to the peeps at Three/21 Media and SDR who do a helluva job.
The third and final video documenting our day at Grand Street Recording featuring Porchfork darling Jon Markson. Big ups to Grand Street, Justin Gerrish, and Benjamin Sweet. Download the exclusive FREE mp3 of the live version of “Sinking Sailor” right here on our website for a limited time!
